How to treat motor vehicle injuries?

Patients injured in car accidents often follow very similar treatment paths which will focus rehabilitation in the following order. The first objective is to get as much of the patients pain under control as possible. Secondly, our rehab team will focus on improving overall range of motion, diminishing headaches/ dizziness, improving tolerance to movement and sustained load. Lastly, due to time passed and injuries sustained in the accident patients will often become very weak and lethargic. Strengthening and return to an individuals prior level of function becomes the final stage of rehabilitation.
