What is Arthritis?
Arthritis is swelling and tenderness in one or more joints in the body. It often occurs when cartilage in these joints slowly degenerates over time, often due to poor movement patterns, poor biomechanics , overuse and aging.
It results in pain, joint stiffness, and swelling, making day to day activities such as walking, working with your hands, or bending your spine difficult. Arthritis can be found in any joint but most commonly: neck arthritis, hand arthritis, knee arthritis, low back arthritis, hip arthritis.
If left untreated, arthritis will lead to ongoing degeneration of this cartilage
which does not regenerate, resulting in more pain and difficulty moving.
