What is it?

Plantar Fasciitis is the most common type of heel pain. It is caused by strain or overuse of a thick band of tissue that runs from the heel to the toes, known as the plantar fascia. Plantar fasciitis often causes pain at the ball of the heel or around the itself and is usually worse during first steps in the morning

Plantar Fasciitis is often caused from sudden or excessive running, walking, jumping or inadequate footwear

If left untreated Plantar Fasciitis can become a chronic condition resulting in ongoing pain in the heel or foot
